KARACHI – Unidentified armed extortionists targeted the house of a trader within the remits of Darakhshan Police Station on Sunday. Police officials said that unidentified culprits, riding on a motorbike, threw a hand grenade at the house of Abdul Qadir, a resident of 39/1, and fled. The bomb did not explode while police and experts of Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spot and took the grenade into custody. The officials said the trader received a threatening call from extortionists, but he and his family did not give any details and were trying to end the issue.
