MANDI BAHAUDDIN - Special Advisor to Prime Minister, Imtiaz Ahmad Ranjha on Sunday said that the PML-Q was a democratic party which had strengthened under the leadership of Ch Shujaat Hussain. Addressing the PML-Q and PPP workers here at native village Mianwal Ranjha, he said that the PML-Q had emerged a strong party due to political insight of Ch Shujaat Hussain.
The PML-Q would remain a coalition partner of the Pakistan People’s Party in the next election and make seat adjustment with the PPP. It was propagated that the PML-Q would be eliminated after Pervez Musharraf, he said and added that party had further strengthened rather its elimination. He said that Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf got 44 votes of PML-Q members of parliament.
Condemning the Punjab government, he said that manhandling of doctors could not be justified, adding the provincial government had failed to maintain law and order. He said doctors were a highly qualified segment of society and they must be tackled sensibly.
