Rawalpindi: Construction of metro bus service almost half complete


Islamabad- Over 45 percent of construction work on Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project (RIMBP) has been completed.
Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has hoped that the construction work will be completed ahead of its cut-off date. RDA said work on erecting pillars near Riyalto chowk without demolishing bridge over Nullah Leh is underway. The process for acquisition of land for constructing bus terminals at Flashman, Mareer chowk, Liaqat Bagh, committee chowk, Waris Khan, Benazir Hospital, Rehman Abad and 6th road is in progress.
