Food prices

Food is a basic necessity for all human beings to survive. But in Pakistan it has become a 'luxury. The poor are becoming poorer and the rich richer. It is getting difficult to make both ends meet due to the high rate of inflation. Owing to exorbitant food prices the poor of the country are struggling for survival. It has been declared that in Karachi malnutrition rates are even more than those of African countries. It is an alarming situation for the people, the government and civil society. The increasing inflation has given birth to a number of social evils in the shape of extremism, terrorism, etc. For this all of us are responsible and we should do our best to resolve the problem.
