Security has been tightened in Islamabad after the blasts in Shabqadar, Charsadda in which more than 60 FC soldiers were killed and dozens injured.Security outside important police offices has been beefed up and personnel armed with sophisticated weapons have been deputed outside the police stations. Extra deployment of police personnel has been ensured at important locations of the city including intersections and signals.The police commandoes have been deputed around sensitive locations and important buildings while special police teams have been constituted by each police station for effective patrolling in its respective jurisdiction. Police officials in civil uniforms have been assigned the task to keep vigilance against suspicious elements. This is a good initiative taken by the Islamabad police as the security situation in our country is going from bad to worse.
