LONDON: A British man has created his own Jetsons-style bubble car - partly made out of junk, and based on a design he sketched in the pub.

Paul Bacon, 39, from Leicester, doodled the Jetsons-style vehicle before hand-building what he believes is the first bubble-top car made in the UK. Dubbed The Cosmotron, the amazing 140mph dream machine is partly made up of cleverly disguised household objects. The steering wheel has the top of a rocket firework in its centre and a circular shower drain on the mount. Elsewhere there are moisturiser bottletops on the rear grille, a central heating system that doubles as a fake radio and John Lewis salt and pepper pots sit atop the impressive engine .–wo
