woman, her son and 10-year-old nephew were gunned down over a matrimonial dispute in the suburban village 51/3R while a man was killed and two others injured in two road accidents here the other day. According to detail, Majidan Bibi, wife of Mohammad Sarwar, a resident of 51/3R along with her son Mohammad Numan and 10-year-old nephew Bilawal, son of Aslam were outside her house. All of sudden armed accused including Shujaat, Imtiaz, Zulfikar and their unknown accomplice appeared and fired a volley of gunshots on them. Resultantly, the woman along with both the boys died of fatal gunshots instantly while the criminals fled the scene.Following the gruesome incident, the bereaved family staged a protest by placing the dead bodies at chowk of the village and chanted slogans against the police. They demanded the police high-ups to immediately arrest the criminals and ensure justice to the family. Meanwhile, DPO Raja Bisharat took notice of the triple murder directed the police officers including the Cantt Police SHO regarding provision of justice. The police officers held talks with the protesters and assured them of early arrest of the accused. At which the family agreed and to autopsy of the deceased. The police shifted the bodies to hospital for post-mortem. The motive behind the incident is said to be a matrimonial dispute.Meanwhile in two different traffic accidents a person was killed while another injured. Reportedly, a man identified as Maula Bakhsh, son of Muhammad was killed and his friend Mohammad Hanif sustained injuries when their donkey-cart was hit by a speeding tractor on Ratta Khuwana Road.He breathed his last instantly while the injured was rushed to hospital. Whereas a speeding van critically injured one Mohammad Akram, son of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Faisalabad Road near old District Courts Complex. The police have registered separate cases.Meanwhile, three women were abducted from different areas of the district. According reports, in 12/GD four culprits abducted a woman namely Razia Bibi, wife of Ali Sher. Reason behind the incident could not be ascertained yet. In another incident four accused including Mohammad, Noor Mehmood Bhogujan, Shehbaz and Ismail kidnapped Akhtar Perveen, sister of Mohammad Nawaz, son Qutab Ali. Similarly in Mauza Doula Pukhta the daughter of one Mohammad Hussan namely Sajida alias Guddy was kidnapped by accused including Asif alias Asoo and Tanveer. Having registered separate case the police have started raids for the recovery of girls.
