President Asif Ali Zardari will address the joint sitting of the Parliament on Monday, which will be his sixth address to the parliament during his five year tenure.
Special passes have been issued for the auspicious occasion to kick-off at 04:00pm, to be held amid tight security measures, as ordered by the new federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
All leading entry and exit points would be strictly monitored, and no vehicle would be allowed to enter the federal capital area without a thorough search. Rangers officials along with police will be deployed to ensure foolproof security.
The President has already summoned both houses of the Parliament to assemble in Parliament House, Islamabad on Monday.
