Ten including three cops killed in Karachi incidents

At least seven persons including three policemen and three children were killed while several others injured in separate violent incidents in different areas of the city on Sunday.
The Superintendent of Police at Jamshed Town told media persons that unknown assailants sprayed bullets on a police mobile vehicle.
Three policemen of Jamshed Town police station standing guard outside a local hospital in the line of duty were killed as a result of the firing. Their bodies were shifted to hospital where they were deployed for security for postmortem.
22-year-old Sajid and a young girl were killed while nine others injured in a hand grenade attack near Gabol Park, General Hospital of Lyari.
The injured included Shahid Ahmed, Nadeem Rehman, Nazir, Rasheeda Bibi and Deen Mohammad. They were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. Tension prevailed in the area after the attack.
Meanwhile, a reckless driven over speeding water tanker crushed two children while they were crossing the road  killing one of them on the spot and leaving other critically injured. The injured child was rushed to hospital where he also succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
Police also recovered bodies from the Korangi and Garden areas of the city.
