Four killed in Faisalabad incidents

FAISALABAD   -  Four persons were killed in different incidents in Faisalabad on Tuesday. In the first incident, a farmer reportedly shot dead a ‘numberdar’ over collection of water rate (Aabiyana) in the area of Sadar Tandlianwala police station. Police spokesman said on Tuesday that numberdar Naveed Asif asked a farmer, Amir, in Chak 450/G-B to deposit Aabiyana but the later showed his unwillingness over which an altercation occurred between them. Over this issue, accused Amir allegedly opened fire at numberdar Naveed Asif and killed him on the spot. The police have registered a case and started searching of the accused.

In the second incident, a property dispute took a life of a shopkeeper and left two others injured in Sitiana police limits. A police spokesman said shopkeeper Haq Hawaz of Chak No 367-GB had an old property dispute with Khalid. On the day of incident, Khalid along who with his accomplices gunned down Nawaz while Mehmood and Akram were shifted to hospital in a critical condition. The accused fled while the police took the body into custody. In the third incident, a man was killed while his son sustained injuries in a road accident in Sandal Bar police limits on Tuesday.  A police spokesman said a speeding wan hit a parked truck near Aminpur Interchange. As a result, 50-year-old Khan Muhammad of Mianwali died on the spot while Rescue 1122 shifted his 22-year-old son Amjad to the Allied Hospital in a critical condition.

  The police took the body into custody and started investigation.

In fourth incident, a youth committed suicide over domestic dispute, in the limits of Rodala Road police station. Police on Tuesday said that Muhammad Saeed, resident of Chak No.283-GB was scolded by family elders over domestic issue, due to which, he ended his life by hanging himself from the rope. Police were investigating.
