The controller examination BISE has stated with an air of panache that only 250 candidates who were to appear in the matric examination this year have been effected due to wrong roll number slips and some other mistakes. Its just tip of the iceberg as almost 6000 students have received the roll number slips with flagrant mistakes. It excites both laughter and pity that 12 students have been allotted Central Jail Kot Lakhpat as their examination centre. Many male students have received the roll number slips with the photographs of girls and vice versa. All this happened as the Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif was profoundly desirous to introduce online registration system. I wonder why Mr Sharif forgot that every student would not be having an easy access to internet facility. Majority of the candidates got their forms filled from the owners of the net cafes who did the job of form filling with negligence and haste in order to mint more money from more students. I wonder how the Board will redress the grievances of the poor candidates? MUBUSHAR ALI SULEHRIA, Wah Cantt, March 8
