LAHORE The PML-Q, in a bid to deliver the decisive blow to the partys Forward Bloc in the Punjab Assembly, could move disqualification references against the rebels to the Election Commission anytime in coming few days as Assembly Speaker Rana Iqbal hasnt sent the same to the EC so far. Sources in the PML-Q, privy to the developments regarding party rebels references, told TheNation on Tuesday, quoting party high-command, that they were planning to move the references through partys parliamentary leader. The PA Speaker, it may be noted, was bound to send the references in two days time after receiving them. He claimed that serious parliamentarians in the bloc would return to party folds soon keeping in view the 'mistrust and schedule cast behaviour of the PML-N leadership with them. He said that PML-Q could compel all the rebels to return if they have huge funds, while the PML-N being the ruling party in the province enjoys all the powers to attract the opportunists among the party ranks. Meanwhile, Dr. Tahir Ali Javed, leader of the unification bloc told this reporter that various leaders PML-N taking different lines on the status of his position as the real 'parliamentary party leader of PML-Q in the provincial assembly, which was equalling demoralizing the unification bloc members who lend unconditional support to the PML-N government. He, while quoting a news story of this scribe in which Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly said that legal opinion on parliamentary party leader was awaited to decide the fate of the references against the unification bloc, demanded, This high time and the PML-N top leadership should take a clear stance on the status of parliamentary party leader in Punjab Assembly to decide the fate of future relations between the PML-N and unification bloc. Dr. Tahir calling the disqualification references as simple letters said that the Speaker Punjab Assembly should not accept such things from the leader of the minority of the PML-Q.
