LAHORE - Young Doctors Association has warned the provincial government of stopping medical care to the patients lodged at the indoor wards of the public hospitals if their demands are not met in next 48 hours. The YDA earlier starting their agitation campaign last week for raise in their salaries stopped provision of medical assistance to the outdoor patients and emergencies of the public hospitals. In a press statement, YDA leaders including Dr Hamid Butt, Dr Muhammad Ajmal, Dr Nasir and others said traffic warden and court clerk were getting Rs 27,000 and 35,000 respectively, while the doctors who serve the ailing people in far-flung and calamity-hit areas were being paid only Rs 20,000.
