RAWALPINDI  – DCO Rawalpindi, has instructed the concerned authorities to impose heavy fines on adulterators and profiteers and to arrest unhygienic meat sellers.

DCO Rawalpindi, Saqib Zafar directed all Assistant Commissioners and Revenue officers to arrest unhygienic meat sellers and they would be granted bail after minimum 72 hours of their arrest.

According to information, DCO Rawalpindi presided a joint meeting of all Assistant Commissioners and Revenue officers held in DCO, s office.

He issued the directive to Revenue Department to assign Revenue officers on price-checking duties. He directed that they would visits bazaars and markets for price checking and they have authority to register case against adulterators and profiteers.

During the meeting he also directed Revenue officers to ensure transparent way in transfer of property and recovery of registry fees. He has given two months deadline for the completion of old properties records.
