LAHORE - PTI Chief Imran Khan has said that he strongly believed that progress of women is progress of the entire nation.

In a press statement in connection with International Women’s Day issued on Thursday, he paid rich tributes to all the Pakistani women who contribute significantly to the well-being of their families, communities and their country.

He claimed that women do not enjoy adequate representation in decision making, as out of the 51 members on the PPP Central Executive Committee, only two were women.

 Imran maintained that the PTI was the only political party, which encourages women belonging to all walks of life to participate in political gatherings by ensuring secure environment.
