SIALKOT - The sudden and unprovoked firing by the Indian Border Security Forces created panic among the locals in Kalyaal village near the Bajwat Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.
The BSF started firing from the Gol Patan post, the officials added.
According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the BSF resorted to indiscriminate fire at 7pm on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, which continued for about 20 minutes. The Chenab Rangers responded instantly and gave a befitting answer.
However, no causality or injury from both sides was reported, the senior officials told the newsmen on Thursday. There is no report yet whether Pakistan will lodge a protest with India.
