LAHORE – Minhaj-ul-Quran Chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Islam is a religion of peace and reconciliation and those burning in the fires of extremism and terrorism have not understood the spirit of Islamic teachings.

Addressing a large number of people in a Milad Conference organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran India in ‘Kacha’city of Gujrat on Thursday, he said that the love of the Holy Prophet (SAW) has attracted millions of people from across India and purpose of the gathering was to convey the message of peace, love and interfaith harmony in the world.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that those whose hearts radiate with the love of the Holy Prophet (SAW) cannot even think of causing a harm to the animals leave alone the human beings. He said that for peace to prevail it is important to revive and strengthen the relationship of person with the Holy Prophet (SAW).
