Tulisa Contostavlos will release her debut solo single this spring. The X Factor judge’s N-Dubz bandmate and ex-boyfriend Fazer told MTV News that ‘We Are Young’ will be released on May 7. Fazer said: “[It] is a really big dance record [with] a great message behind it. ‘Forgive us for what we have done, ‘cause we are young’. That’s it. Simple!”  ‘We Are Young’ will be the first single release from Fazer’s new production company STL Music. Contostavlos claimed last month that her debut album is so loaded with potential singles that she could not decide which she wanted to release. She was recently added to the lineup of this year’s Wireless Festival in London, supporting main stage headliner Drake. Earlier this month, Dappy predicted that one member of N-Dubz is “going to go big” and worried that “it would be easy for me and Fazer to get lost in the drain” should Contostavlos’s career take off. He also admitted that “it does get lonely” without his N-Dubz bandmates. It was claimed last month that Contostavlos split from Fazer over his demands that she quit her job on The X Factor.           –EN
