MANDI BAHAUDDIN- At least four children have died and dozens other have been affected by the negligence of medical staff and the lack of facilities in Government Children Hospital Mandi Bahauddin today.
The hospital built for children some two years ago at the estimated cost of Rs 800,000,000, has no child specialist so far. Presently 42 posts are lying vacant in the understaffed hospital. The X-ray machine and other laboratory equipments are out of order.  Residents of the areas say that the mere construction of hospital and laboratories is useless until qualified doctors and paramedical staff is posted there. They demand the CM Punjab take notice.
