Afghan shells hit SWA; no casualty

PESHAWAR - Some 25 mortar shells fired from Afghanistan landed in South Waziristan Agency on Saturday morning; however, no casualty was reported.
Officials sources while confirming the incident said that between 9:30am to 11:25am, at least 25 mortars allegedly fired by Afghan border police from Tarkhobi camp landed near Angor Adda in South Waziristan Agency.
Luckily no casualty was reported in the happening. However, protest has been lodged with Afghan government in this regard.
Similarly, a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered on a tip-off by law enforcement agencies in Bajaur Agency on Saturday. The law enforcement agencies recovered four rockets, seven RPG, 28 bombs, 82mm, 58 rocket fuses, anti-tank mines, 250-kg explosives and hand grenades from Bandagai area of Bajaur Agency.
