KHYBER AGENCY - An Afghan soldier who after getting treatment in the military hospital Peshawar was handed over to Afghan authorities at the Torkham border on Tuesday.

Military sources said that one Afghan soldier Alam Zeb had sustained serious bullets injuries during a clash with militants in Kunar province of Afghanistan. They said that Alam Zeb was evacuated and shifted to the Combined Military Hospital, Peshawar where he was given medical treatment for ten days. Last day, they said, the Pakistani troops handed over him to Afghan officials at the Torkham border. The soldier thanked the Pak forces for providing best healthcare facility that saved his life.
