Pacra upgrades IFS rating of East West Insurance



LAHORE : The PACRA has upgraded the Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating of East West Insurance Company Limited (EWI) to ‘A’ (Single A) (previously A-). The rating denotes strong capacity to meet policyholder and contract obligations. The rating incorporates management’s prudent strategy - focused on a diverse mix of products and customers. This helped the company to sustain improvement in the, underwriting performance. Moreover, the investment management framework has been strengthened, whereby board investment committee has formulated a comprehensive investment strategy.
