Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Gillani has taken a suo moto notice of the rape incident of a minor Christian girl in Daska village, inordinate delay in provision of justice to the grieved family and the police harassment of the family for a patch up with the influential rapist.
The Chief Justice has sought a detailed inquiry report of this case from Punjab Inspector General of Police Khan Baig till May 10, 2014.
According to FIR(No. 152/ 2014) lodged under sections 201 and 376 PPC by the Daska Saddr Police station, the police registered on April 22, two days after the incident was occurred.
The incident occurred when accused Fakhar Alam alias Phool raped a minor Christian girl Saira Iqbal Masih (seven years old) in village Malleyki-Daska here.
