LAHORE: A father of three was gunned down by motorcyclists over old enmity in Shadbagh, police said on Thursday. Police have registered a murder case against eight gunmen and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
Shabbir Jutt, 26, was standing in front of his house in Altaf Park late Wednesday night when some motorcyclists appeared there. They opened straight fire at him and fled away. Shabbir sustained multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. The complainant, Munir Jutt, told the police that his brother Shabbir had old enmity with Toni Butt and Puppo Baloch.–Staff Reporter
Investigators said that the old enmity between Toni Butt and Shabbir Jutt groups had already claimed the lives of four people since they developed differences over cable network dispute. Further investigation is underway.
