MULTAN-Declaring Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan an unwanted element, Chief of his own faction of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Thursday that Imran Khan was a non-serious personality who always spoiled time.

Talking to the journalists here at Madrassa Qasimul Uloom, he added that if the issue of electoral rigging was to be risen, he should talk about rigging done in entire country instead of raising the issue of few constituencies.

“Imran Khan is shouting on rigging issue since a year even his own party came into power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rigging like “Chor bhi kahay chor, chor”, Maulana Fazl added.

Answering a question on dialogue with Taliban, he said that the talks were not heading in right direction. He maintained that the government would have to exhibit seriousness if it wanted to make talks meaningful. “Because peace can be restored only through serious efforts,” he added.

Maulana Fazl claimed that he had rejected ministry offered given by the Nawaz government.

He said that the PML-N government had offered him federal minister level post in centre but he rejected the offer as his party had different point of view on various national issues.

The JUI-F chief said that despite all differences, his party would support the government and would resist if the democracy faced any challenge in the country.
