LAHORE  - Mines Chief Inspector Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique went missing Friday morning. He was on the way to office when unidentified people help him up and chauffeured him to unknown place, it was reported.
Police say they have launched an operation for the recovery of missing man. Citing preliminary probe, police say the official was in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) – a claim denied by agency. “The agency does not get in provincial matters,” said an agency spokesperson.
