Peshawar: A massive terror bid was foiled when bomb disposal squad (BDS) taking timely action defused explosives material here on Saturday.

Police said that unknown miscreants had placed an explosives filled briefcase in Chowk Yadgar of Peshawar.

The traders and citizens who find the suspicious briefcase informed the police.

Heavy contingent of police with BDS reached the scene which through water charge defused the explosives.

Police said that the explosives could have caused huge loss had it exploded but timely action foiled the bid.
