KASUR: The police registered a case against a man for setting ablaze wheat crop over two acres of land of his rival landlord.
Muhammad Munawar, a resident of Khoday, told the police that he harvested wheat on his land the other day. He was in the fields with his son Nabeel when the accused namely Shafaat along with five of his accomplices came to the fields. He said that they started quarrelling with him and burnt his crops over not giving them the way. As a result, all the wheat crops burnt to ashes. The Khuddian Police have registered a case against the accused and started raids to arrest him.–Staff Reporter
MAN ENDS LIFE: A disheartened man ended his life by taking wheat preservative pills over domestic issues here the other day.
The police said that the deceased identified as Muhammad Akram was a resident of Jumbar Kalan area of Phoolnagar. He took wheat preservative pills over some domestic issues and died instantly. The police have started investigation into the incident.
