Sheikh Rasheed seeks NA debate on Panama scam

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Monday submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly, seeking debate on fresh Panama leaks.

Sheikh Rasheed, through the motion, called upon the house to halt the routine proceeding for a debate on Panama scandal.

“The Panama scandal is largest in Pakistan’s history. It’s a threat to the entire democratic system,” says the motion.

The motion came when International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) is set to release thousands of more documents of the Panama Papers.
