OKARA -Two women along with a child were abducted in two separate incidents here the other day. 
According to police, Mohammad Hussain and Bagh Ali kidnapped Salma Bibi, sister of Mohammad Aslam along with her children.  Similarly, Shahida Begham, wife of Masih was kidnapped by Sadiq, Shaukat and Hameed from Village 29/GD Daniyal.  The police have registered the cases.
JI names Okara Ameer: Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Ameer Waseem Akhtar has appointed Capt (r) Liaqat Ali Kasar as JI Okara district Ameer for the next two years.
 A notification in this respect has been issued here the other day.
After assuming charge as JI District Ameer, Capt Liaqat Ali Kasar said that he would work for the party round the clock.
