KARACHI - Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that not only Sindh but the whole country is stronghold of the PPP, as the party would be more strengthened at the country level.

The rights of the poor, farmers and labourers would be empowered. The LB elections are open for all the political forces in Sindh, and a fair ground has been set so that true representatives could serve the people at the grass-root level. The PPP chairman was presiding over meetings with the PPP district office-bearers from Tando Allahyar and Hyderabad at the Bilawal House Sunday. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MNA Faryal Talpur, Senior Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Ministers Jam Khan Shoro, Jamil Soomro and others attended the meeting. Bilawal said that some undemocratic forces and their proxies might be trying to create controversies and hijack the electoral process. He hoped that the law enforcing agencies and administration would be alert and foil any such attempt. Bilawal asked the administration and the Election Commission to make proper arrangements for second phase of the LB polls as the people should cast their vote without any fear. The party representatives apprised the chairman about the political conditions in their respective areas and also discussed organisational matters. The PPP chairman expressed confidence that the party candidates would win with a great majority in all the districts as the people of Pakistan have always voted the PPP whenever they were given free and fair chance to exercise their right of franchise.
