KASUR
A girl was allegedly kidnapped, gang-raped and filmed by six persons in Khuddian Khas. The accused uploaded video of the gang-rape on social media the other day, four months after the incident, father of the girl told the police.
The police have registered a case against the alleged rapists and arrested five of them. Muhammad Hanif, father of the gang-rape victim told the police that Khurram Liaquat, Khalil Liaquat, Afzal, Sheikh Omer and Tanvir Ghafoor abducted his daughter four months ago. They took her to a haveli where they gang-raped her. The accused also filmed the inhuman act and blackmailed her into silence. He claimed that the alleged rapists also threatened her of dire consequences. He said that the accused also uploaded video of the incident on social media, four months of the incident.
The police have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a man was shot at and injured critically injured over a petty issue in Zafar-Ke on Sunday. Irfan had a quarrel with Jamil over a petty issue at which the former opened fire, critically injuring the later. He was admitted to hospital.
