PESHAWAR:- Counter terrorism department of police claimed to have arrested two persons in separate crackdowns who were allegedly involved in extortion and terrorist activities in Malakand region. In the first crackdown counter terrorism police while acting on tip-off information raided a house in Dargai area and arrested Ihsanullah, son of Inzar Gul, resident of Charsadda. He was shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation. Earlier to this CTD had also arrested two extortionists of the same group identified as Ajoli and Muazam.–STAFF REPORTER

In another crackdown CTD arrested an alleged terrorist Akhtar Mohammad, son of Taj Mohammad, resident of Tana Kalakot. He was arrested during a raid on Mingora Bus Stand. He was allegedly involved in blazing a government girl’s middle school in Matta.

He was shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation.
