Brother Islamic countries Pakistan and Turkey enjoy very warm and sincere relations with each other. These relations are envied by people around the globe.

It is quite appreciable that Turkey has praised Pakistan’s cooperation in the fight against Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) following the last year’s failed coup.

According to the reports in the media, these nice words have been said by no less a person than Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim while addressing a joint press with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Istanbul the other day. Pakistan’s prime minister was in Turkish capital for attending D-8 Summit.

The Turkish Prime Minister said his country greatly welcomes Pakistan’s cooperation and sensitivity on battling FETO which also poses threat to Pakistan’s security as well.

About excellent relations between the two brother countries, the Turkish Prime Minister quite emphatically and sincerely remarked that we know Prime Minister Abbasi and his delegation consider Turkey their second home as we see Pakistan as our second home adding his country continue making its active contributions towards establishing permanent peace and stability in Afghanistan and lauded Pakistan’s positive role in this regard.

Prime Minister Abbasi said on the occasion that both countries have agreed to bolster existing bilateral relations in diverse areas with particular focus on trade and economy, we stand by Turkey in fighting terror and ending it , Turkey’s friend is our friend and its enemy is our enemy and also appreciated Turkey for supporting the people of Indian occupied Kashmir fighting for securing their right of self-determination promised under the UN resolutions.

Such frequent interaction between the top leaders of the brotherly Islamic countries will obviously further promote and strengthen the existing relations and enhance cooperation and assistance in different fields for mutual benefits of Turkey and Pakistan. Thanks.
