Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary in his statement on Friday has said that no offer was made by the government to Bilawal regarding PAC chairmanship.

He said that there is no truth in the news, which is being run on media in this connection. Only a general suggestion was floated that anybody including Bilawal may become the PAC chairman, he concluded.  

On the other hand, the former deputy speaker of National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi, said in his tweet that a minister during the session of assembly had offered Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the slot of PAC chairman. He said that Bilawal has refused by saying that government wants to divide the opposition on the matter.

“Bilawal once again showed a high political vision by not accepting the post”, Kundi added.
