FAISALABAD - Qualitative as well as quantitative improvement in customer services will be his top priority, said Tanveer Safdar Cheema Chief Executive (CE) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO). He was addressing an informal meeting at FESCO headquarters after taking over charge of his new assignment here Thursday. He termed customers as most precious asset of the company and said that satisfaction of consumers should be the hallmark of any thriving public utility. It should also be reflected in our policies and strategies, he said and added that special measures should be taken for the immediate redressal of consumers genuine complaints. He said that FESCO has emerged as one of the best distribution company of WAPDA and it must maintain its supremacy. Rs3 billion loans to be disbursed for Rabi crop LAHORE (APP) - Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited (PPCBL) has started the disbursement of loan for Rabi Crop 2009-10 to small farmers throughout the province and the total amount of Rs 3 billion has been allocated for the purpose. According to PPCBL spokesman here Thursday, Rs 596.48m to be disbursed in Lahore zone, Rs 349.40m in Gujranwala, Rs 91.25m in Rawalpindi, Rs 192.38m in Sarg-odha, Rs 467.92m in Faisalabad, Rs 462.40m in Bahawalpur, Rs 633.71m in Multan and Rs 206.46m in Dera Ghazi Khan. The disbursement of loans of the current crop and recovery of previous crop will also be completed on the direction of the Government, he added. He said that the bank and coops department were directed to achieve the target regarding disbursement of loan of the current and recovery of previous crop.
