ISLAMABAD - Al-Muslim Football Club beat Young Muhammadan 2-1 in the Muslim Challenge Football Cup quarterfinals here at Municipal Stadium book semi-finals berth . Young Muhammadan took the surprise lead in the 13th minute of the first half through Hafiz Waqar who scored from a powerful header to make 1-0. In the second half, hard work and consistent pressure of Al-Muslim paid off in the 55th minute when skipper Tariq Khan scored a solo goal and Shafqat Rana scored in the 66th minute to ensure no upsets this time around for the mighty Al-Muslim FC . When the referee blew the final whistle, Al-Muslim won the match 2-1 and booked berth in the semis .
