ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter/NNI): British Prime Minister David Cameron phoned PM Nawaz Sharif Tuesday. According to PM House, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties between the two countries. PM Sharif’s upcoming visit to the United Kingdom was also discussed during the telephone call. Meanwhile, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on PM Nawaz and discussed matters relating to the government’s decision to hold peace talks with Taliban.

The two leaders exchanged views on starting formal peace talks with Taliban. In addition to planned agenda, the two leaders also mulled over prevailing law and order situation in Karachi, Balochistan and KPK.
