LOS ANGELES-Milla Jovovich is set to lead the cast of thriller Survivor which also includes Emma Thompson, Pierce Brosnan and Angela Bassett. The Resident Evil star will play the main character in the terrorist drama directed by V For Vendetta’s James McTeigue, according to Deadline. Her character is posted to the US embassy in London where she is tasked with stopping terrorists from getting into America. But she finds herself targeted for death and framed for crimes and is forced to go on the run while she tries to stop a New Year’s Eve terror attack on Times Square. The star cast will begin filming in London on January 20. Milla is currently filming Cymbeline with Ed Harris, Ethan Hawke and Dakota Johnson, is currently filming The Expendables 3 and is signed up for Resident Evil 6.
