ISLAMABAD- Capital Development Authority successfully launched and completed its cleanliness operation during Eid-ul-Azha, disposing of animal wastes and other garbage from the city daily after the slaughtering of sacrificial animals.

According to a press release issued here Wednesday, some 30 deep ditches and trenches were dug up at 18 different locations including final disposal site located in Sector I-12 for organized and quick disposal of the remains of sacrificial animals by the Sanitary workers of CDA.

On Eid, Chairman CDA and Member Administration and Estate visited different sectors to inspect the process of collection and disposal of remains of sacrificial animals by the workers of Sanitation Directorate.

During the three-day cleanliness drive Mustafain Kazmi, head of Environment wing personally supervised the cleanliness operation on the occasion of Eid. Chairman CDA appreciated the cleanliness arrangements made by Sanitation Directorate of the Authority saying that the staff will work with the same zeal and enthusiasm to keep Islamabad cleaner and greener city.
