Islamabad - The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) yesterday made it clear that it has not allowed any firm or any individual to book plots or collect money on its behalf.

According to officials, this warning has been issued after the FGEHF noticed that some individuals/firms have opened their offices in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and offering services for allotment of plots in Sectors F-14 and F-15, Islamabad.

One such office namely National Legal Services is working at 17, 2nd floor, Moti Plaza, near Liaquat Bagh. The National Legal Services has printed pamphlets and application forms and is providing forms for allotment of plots in F-14 and F-15, besides receiving membership fee from the federal government employees and the general public, the officials explained.

The officials further clarified that FGEHF has started membership drive for the federal government employees and other specified groups and the modus operandi to get membership for allotment of plot under the Foundation is very simple whereby only authorised specific branches of Askari Bank can collect application forms and membership fee.

The officials further said that the FGEHF is considering to initiate legal proceedings against the firms/individuals who are booking plots or collecting money on its behalf illegally.
