Islamabad - Pakistan and Belarus yesterday resolved to further strengthen the existing ties in political, parliamentary, economic and cultural spheres.

This agreement reached between the two sides during the second round of annual consultations held in Islamabad. The two sides discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations also agreed to further enhance institutional linkages and explore new avenues of cooperation.

There was a frank exchange of views on regional and global issues. The talks were held in a cordial atmosphere in the spirit of mutual cooperation.

The next round of Political Consultations will be held in 2016.

The Belarusian side was led by their Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Valentine Rybakov. The Pakistan delegation was led by Additional Secretary (Europe) Nadeem Riyaz.
