LAHORE - Expressing solidarity with the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the traders of Hall Road yesterday set Indian goods on fire, asking people to boycott all kinds of their products and urging the government to stop bilateral trade with New Delhi to protest atrocities on Kashmiris.

Addressing the protest rally, the leaders of Hall Road traders condemned the Indian occupation of Kashmir and refusal of New Delhi to hold a plebiscite in compliance with the UN resolutions. They flayed the Indian atrocities which have so far claimed over 100,000 lives.

They demanded immediate implementation of the UN resolutions which called for a plebiscite in the valley to allow Kashmiris their right to self-determination. They also demanded a ban on Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas and called upon the media to play its key role in this regard. They vowed to raise the issue of Kashmir at every forum. They regretted although the UN had admitted Kashmir a disputed territory, Indian leaders had been calling it their integral part and mercilessly killing innocent people.
