LARKANA - A meeting of Sindh People Development Committee (SPDC) Larkana was held under the chairmanship of Dr Shafqat Hussain Soomro here at Circuit House on Tuesday. On the occasion, the meeting reviewed the progress of development schemes being carried out in the district. The Chairman expressed dissatisfaction over the quality and pace of work of the schemes regarding the roads, public health, drainage schemes and other ongoing development works in Larkana. During the SPDC meeting the internal roads of Larkana being executed by National Highway Authority (NHA) was also thoroughly discussed by all the members of SPDC. Chairman SPDC said that outlook of the city in particular and district in general will completely change after the completion of development work. The chairman expressed his gratitude to President Asif Ali Zardari and MNA Faryal Talpur for their unflinching continuous support on every forum for development work related to the home district of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. The meeting was attended by members of the SPDC MPA Haji Munwer Ali Abbasi, Minister for Women Development Tauqir Fatima Bhutto, MPA Ghulam Sarwer Siyal, MPA Abro, District Coordination Officer Larkana Mohammed Jaffer Abbasi, General Secretary PPP district Larkana Abdul Fatah Bhutto, Mohammed Moosa Abro, Khair Mohammed Shaikh, Nisar Ahmed Bhutto, EDO Finance and Planning Mohammed Din Chakrani and other officers of provincial and federal district government on the occasion.
