Akram Sheikh not to represent Sharifs in 3 cases

LAHORE - Senior Advocate Muhammad Akram Sheikh has expressed his inability to represent the PML-N leadership in the Hudaibya Paper Mills case, the Ittefaq Foundaries case and a reference pending before an accountability court against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Mr Sheikh, who is a former president of the Supreme Court, has sent separate applications to the relevant courts to inform them that he will not be able to appear before them because he will be in London for three weeks in connection with the treatment of his wife. In the applications, he said he will have no objection to the representation of the petitioners through Khwaja Harris Ahmed. Mr Sheikh has also informed the PML-N leadership about his decision.
