LAKKI MARWAT – Endorsing Haji Kabeer group’s decision to join JUI-F, the elders, political elites and activists reiterated on Saturday that they would stand by Haji Kabeer group in all circumstances.
At a grand meeting held in Ahmadkhel camp in Lakki city, they authorized MPA Munawar Khan Marwat to take a vigorous decision about joining JUI-F after parting ways with PML-N. JUI-F MPA Naseer Muhammad Khan, former MPA Zafrulah Khan, elders of Speen Gund (white group) and thousands of supporters were in the meeting.                
MPA Munawar Khan shed light on the reasons of his family’s decision to separate itself from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
He said the meeting had been convened to take the elders of Speen Gund and supports into confidence.
“The elders of my family are not in favour of taking such important decisions in drawing rooms”, he said, adding that people’s opinion will help us reach a favourable political decision.
He said that his family did not want to take any decision about parting ways with PML-N and joining JUI-F at its own. “You (people) have been invited here to express your views freely and lead us to take a strong decision”, he maintained.
He said that Kabeer group and elders and workers affiliated with it rendered great sacrifices for the cause of PML-N during the dictatorial regime Pervez Musharraf. “The National Accountability Bureau was activated against former MNA Haji Kabeer Khan (late) and other members of my family besides cases and references were filed against them for the purpose to change our political loyalties,” he said.  
He said that despite suffering wrath of Pervez Musharraf’s regime his family did not change loyalties and remained stuck to PML-N. He told that after being elected as an independent MPA in 2008 general elections he rejected offers of ruling parties and joined PML-N as his family was affiliated with it.
“Now the loyal workers and leaders have no place in the party as Nawaz Sharif has opened up ways for turncoats like Saifullah brothers”, he added. He said that a formal decision with effect to join JUI-F would be made at a mammoth public gathering in Lakki city on September 28.
