LAKKI MARWAT – Regional Police Officer, Bannu, Nisar Ahmad Tanoli chaired a high level meeting here at the District Police Office on Saturday to review the law and order situation and crime ratio in the district.

He took a class of station house officers and warned them of strict disciplinary action for showing poor performance. “Improve your performance by cracking down on criminals’ gangs and anti social elements or get ready for drastic departmental action,” he told the SHOs.

DPO Idrees Khan, SDPO Lakki Bashar Khan, SDPO Naurang Sanaullah Khan, station house officers and police investigators attended the meeting.

The regional police officer directed district police force to launch action against car lifters, drug traffickers and gamblers and cleanse the district from all kinds of crimes and vices.

“It is the primer responsibility of police force to protect the lives and properties of people and destroy the evils at all costs”, he maintained.

He appreciated SHO Tajori Meer Ahmad for initiating successful actions against outlaws in the jurisdiction of his respective police station and announced to award him a commendation certificate.

He also directed the police officials of investigation section to investigate cases on modern scientific basis and submit challans before the courts on time.

He said that the investigators should use modern skills and technologies in the process of investigation, as it would help them to trace cases and bring the actual accused person to justice.
