QUETTA - Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti, chief of
Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), has said he would bring back the disgruntled Baloch leaders to Pakistan,
provided that the government paved way for their return.“People of Balochistan are grateful to Supreme
Court of Pakistan who took notice to the excesses committed by the government with Balochistan,” he told
media persons during a press conference at Bugti House the other day. Supreme Court Bar Association
President Yaseen Azad and other prominent lawyers were also present on the occasion. “Dialogue is possible
with the annoyed Baloch leaders living abroad,” he said, adding that it was a responsibility of the government
to create an environment for their return to resolve the issue of Balochistan. The JWP leader, who is a son of
late Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, emphasised the point that the people of Balochistan did not need cantonments
and they only demanded ownership of their own resources.“It is our right to go our hometown Dera Bugti but
we are being deprived of this right by the government,” he deplored. “Unless the government changes its
policies towards Balochistan the situation would remain same,” Talal noted. The decomposed dead bodies of
Baloch missing persons showed non-seriousness of government and drastic measures were required to give
logical end to the alleged atrocities by the powerful authorities, he added.Talal called for bringing the killers of
Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti to justice.Responding to a question, he said Dera Bugti was their hometown but
they were not being allowed to return. “There is no law in the world to restrict us from moving to the land of
our ancestors,” he added.
