KHYBER AGENCY – A woman was killed and her husband sustained bullet injuries over an old enmity on Friday late night here in Karmna area of tehsil Landi Kotal, official and local sources informed.
The sources said that last late night hours Saudi Gul, Kunra etc. raided at the house of a local tribesman, Yarehman and opened indiscriminate firing on the residents of the house. Consequently, the spouse of the owner of the house was killed on the spot while he sustained serious bullets’ injuries, sources said.
Taking advantage of the dark the killers successfully managed to escape, sources said.
The wounded Yarehman was shifted to Landi kotal hospital where from he was referred to Peshawar hospital due to precarious condition, hospital sources said.
The cause of the crime was stated to be an old enmity, locals said.
