Religious organisations belong to all schools of thought arranged seminars and rallies across the district to mark Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Day and commemorate the historic legislation whereby Qadianis were declared non-Muslims in 1974.

On the occasion, ulema, scholars and leaders from all walks of life pledged not to spare any effort to protect the honour of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and thwart conspiracies of the Qadiani against Pakistan.

As per details,  as part of the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Day, various organisations paid glowing tributes to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBHU) and those Ulema and scholars who struggled for three decade which ultimately paved the way for the historic legislation, declaring Qadianis as non-Muslims, at various meetings and rallies.

The speakers at different functions pledged to protect Khatm-e-Nabuwwat at all costs and did not even hesitate from sacrificing life for the cause. They warned that Qadiani lobby, aided and abetted by Christian and Zionist regimes of the west, had remained active in hatching heinous conspiracies against the security, solidarity and integrity of Pakistan. They alleged Qadianis were behind the fall of Dhakka and other menaces like terrorism and sectarian attacks in the country.

Moreover, a special meeting was held under Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Lawyer Forum at Jinnah Hall TMA. Supreme Court Advocate Malik Rab Nawaz addressed the meeting titled "Why Qadiani are Minority."

He said that in the last quarter of 19 Century Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani proclaimed himself to be Mujaddid, Zule Nabi, Maseeh Mouood, Imam Mehdi, Nabi and Prophet of God which created panic and unrest among people in general and the Ulema in particular. To counter the worsening situation Mirza Qadiani adopted guerrilla tactics as when the pressure of public indignation mounted, he would chicken out and retracted his words and when there was some slackness in that pressure he would spring back. These guerrilla tactics lasted till the very end of his life in 1908 in Lahore. Mirza Ghulam Qadiani spent his life promoting his scheme by making claims of divine support, denouncing his detractors in abusive, obscene terms, making threats to divine retribution and whining by interpreting dreams and announcing hit and miss prophecies. His ideas were strongly rejected by Muslims over the world. Malik Rab Nawaz said pointed out that Mirza Qadiani views were not only against the basic belief of Muslims but also aimed at political subjugation of Muslims by colonial powers. In his new religion, Mirza Qadiani declared end of Jihad as a tenet of faith. He is the only prophet in history, who, stated of liberating the oppressed God fearing people from tyranny, legitimized the rule of oppressors. He said that this clearly showed his disregard for freedom, human dignity and justice. He questioned that it was ironic that while Jamaat Ahmadiyya legitimized the colonial rule in all Muslim lands, his followers claim that they were being persecuted in Pakistan, a country where they had been given legal protection and right to follow their faith as non-Muslim minority.

Meanwhile, at the 26th public meeting of International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement (IKNM) at Chenab Nagar, speakers said that Qadianis had played a leading role in weakening and undermining Pakistan. They said the conference decided to start publishing a research magazine, set up a lawyers committee for Qadianis related cases, launching a website for defending the honour of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and issuing a white paper against Qadianis crimes against Pakistan whose copies would be sent to all Muslim leaderships and ambassadors. Similarly a meeting was organised by the Pakistan People's Party local chapter to mark the day. Speakers including Sheikh Tahir Naseem and several other leaders and activists paid tribes Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for legislation against Qadianis and called him a true benefactor of the Muslim Ummah.
